Caradog has joined Menter Iaith Casnewydd as the new Community Development Officer
Hello there! My name is Caradog and I’ve started working with Menter Iaith Casnewydd as the ‘Community Development Officer’. I was raised in the Llandeilo are and this is where I received my primary and secondary education. I continued my studies further at Cardiff University and graduated with a degree in politics.
Welsh language music and literature is of great interest to me. As a teenager, I had the good fortune to be able to play in multiple Welsh language bands. Moreover, one of my favourite pass time activities is reading Welsh books. My favourite author currently is Llwyd Owen.
Mentrau Iaith play an integral role in hosting and advertising activities for Welsh speakers in the community. And I am very excited to be able to be a part of Menter Iaith Casnewydd. Not only for the reason that I’ll be able to arrange events for the area, but for the reason that I’ll get the opportunity to work with the inspiring and hard-working Welsh society in Newport.
